We’re back in the classroom with the Big Data Lab course

📆 With the start of the new academic year, university classes are back in session—and so is our collaboration with Alma Mater Studiorum, University of Bologna. At the Cesena Campus, we returned to the classroom to share with future graduates our experience in programming, data analysis, artificial intelligence, practical examples, and, hopefully, a bit of our passion for the digital world.

The “Big Data, Data Mining, and Data Analytics Lab” is part of the professional degree program in Information Systems Technologies and is conducted by Alexide together with Marco Calbucci, a data analysis expert. During the course, some of our colleagues will also take turns to dive deeper into topics related to Machine Learning. At the end of the program, students will have the opportunity to apply what they’ve learned through a company internship.

We believe this training path gives students solid, marketable skills—useful both in academia and in the professional world. Understanding that “the real value is in the data” and knowing how to manage it is key for anyone who wants to become a leading figure in the field.

🎓 What Alexide has learned in the field will be brought into the classroom, with the goal of sharing knowledge and enthusiasm with a new generation of talent. And who knows—maybe we’ll see some of them join our team one day!
